Remove spills as soon as possible by wiping the maple wood with a clean, lint-free cloth dampened in cool water. Wipe smudges and fingerprints off the maple with a lint-free cloth dampened with cool water.

    3

Mist a lint-free cloth with wood furniture cleaner and wipe your table with the damp cloth. Always wipe with the wood grain. Commercial furniture cleaner is available at department stores. Alternatively, create your own homemade wood cleaner by mixing 3 cups of white vinegar with 6 tsp. of light olive oil in a spray bottle. Only use the homemade cleaner on sealed wood.

Protect your maple kitchen table by always using coaster for glasses. Furthermore, do not set hot plates on the table. Excess heat and moisture will leave unsightly and difficult-to-remove discolorations on your maple kitchen table.
