If your kitchen is too small for a table, but you still would like to have a surface on which to prepare family meals, eat snacks or have a radio or laptop, you could consider a wall-mounted table instead. Even if you are a beginner in DIY, this is not the hardest task. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
- 1
Use the screws and screwdriver to fasten the two shelf-brackets on each side of the wood or particle board you have chosen to be your table. These should be about 2 inches from the edge.
2Measure the wall with a yardstick to know precisely where you want to fix the table.
3Hold the table straight against the wall, where you want it to be. Mark the wall with a pencil to know where you have to fix the self-drilling anchors.
4Bore a hole in the wall with the drill for each pencil mark.
5Insert the self-drilling anchors onto the wall with your hand until they fully infiltrate the wall.
6Hold the table straight against the wall and screw the screws through the shelf-brackets.
7Stop holding the table when you feel the screws are firmly fixed on the wall. If the table is properly mounted against the wall, it won't move an inch.
