How to Clean a Black Painted Kitchen Table

Kitchen tables can get dirty very quickly; black painted tables show dust, fingerprints and any light-colored particles easily. Keeping the table spotless is essential for keeping the kitchen looking clean, but you have to take care that you don't use chemicals or supplies that could harm the paint on the table. Avoid any cleaner containing a solvent, or any abrasive cleaners and cleaning products. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    1

Dampen a clean, soft cloth in hot water Place 1 drop of dish washing liquid in the center of the cloth. Squeeze the cloth to spread the detergent around the surface area of the material.

    2

Wring out the cloth and rub it over the painted table. Treat areas of stuck-on food by gently rubbing them with the cloth--do not force the particles off, or you may damage the paint.

    3

Dampen a clean cloth in warm water. Use this to rinse off the table. If food particles remain stuck, gently rub them again with the cloth until they are removed.

    4

Rinse out the cloth and wipe it over the again. Use a soft towel to immediately dry the table--otherwise, water spots may form.
