Purchase your bamboo and other supplies at a home improvement store.
2Cut the top piece 16 inches wide by 36 inches long. If you need a longer table, you can adjust the length, but width should stay the same.
3Cut two pieces of 3/4-inch wood to a length of 32 inches by 3 inches wide. Cut two pieces to a length of 14 inches by 3 inches wide.
4Sand all the pieces of wood you'll be working with. Start with a heavy sandpaper and work down to the finest-grain sandpaper until the wood is smooth.
5Form a rectangle with the two pieces of 32-inch bamboo and the 14-inch pieces. Drill holes in each end, run a bead of carpenter's glue, then screw together to construct a box.
6Attach this box to the underside of the large piece of bamboo, Pre-drill holes and screw on an angle using 2 1/2-inch screws that do not penetrate the surface of the wood.
7Cut veneer to fit the square legs. Attach with the proper adhesive and clamp together. Allow to dry.
8Attach legs to the box at each corner. Pre-drill holes and use 2 1/2-inch screws.
9Apply several coats of polyurethane to finish.
