Sportcraft has manufactured a wide line of treadmill models for mass marketing at Walmart and other retailers. This overview will focus on the Sportcraft model 7.0 treadmill. Note that the Sportcraft models 6.0, TX440 and TX550 have been recalled by the manufacturer. Troubleshooting: The Treadmill Belt Stops, Slips or Slows Down

Unplug the Sportcraft treadmill from the electrical outlet.
2Find the rear platform roller adjustment bolts. They should be next to the walking belt on the back of the platform. There is one bolt on either side of the walking belt.
3Tighten the walking belt using an Allen wrench if the belt has become too loose on the platform.
4Turn both the right and left rear roller adjustment bolts one quarter-turn clockwise.
5Replug the treadmill back into the outlet.
6Test the Sportcraft treadmill by restarting the unit. Let it run for a few minutes to see whether the walking belt remains centered on the platform. Also make sure the walking belt is accelerating properly.
7Repeat the process if necessary.
Troubleshooting: Walking Belt has Shifted to the Left on the Platform

Unplug the Sportcraft treadmill from the electrical outlet.
9Find the rear roller adjustment bolts on the back of the walking belt platform.
10Use an Allen wrench to recenter the walking belt on the walking belt platform.
11Take the Allen wrench and turn the right rear roller bolt one quarter-turn counterclockwise.
12Continue the adjustment by using the Allen wrench to turn the left rear roller bolt one quarter-turn clockwise.
13Replug the treadmill into the outlet.
14Start the Sportcraft treadmill to test the adjustments. Run the unit for a few minutes to make sure the belt has been recentered on the platform.
15Repeat the process if necessary.
Troubleshooting: Walking Belt has Shifted to the Right on the Platform

Unplug the Sportcraft treadmill from the electrical outlet.
17Find the rear roller adjustment bolts. They should be on the back of the walking platform on either side of the walking belt.
18Using the Allen wrench, turn the right bolt one quarter-turn to the right and the left bolt one quarter-turn to the left.
19Plug the treadmill back into the outlet.
20Test the unit by running it for several minutes to make sure the walking belt is appropriately centered on the walking belt platform.
21Repeat the process if necessary until the walking belt is appropriately centered on the unit.
