Assembly Instructions for a Kidcraft Table

Founded in 1968, KidKraft creates and manufactures furniture and toys for children. They offer a variety of tables, one of the most popular of which is the Nantucket line. The Nantucket comes in two different color schemes: a honey-colored table with primary-colored chairs and a white table with pastel-colored chairs. Four children can sit comfortably around the table, making this table perfect for play dates or for larger families. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Place the table top face down on the floor.

Take two washers, two spring washers, two cross dowel bolts, a table leg and an Allen wrench and place them close to you.

Fit the table leg into a slot on one corner of the table. If your floor is level, the table leg should stay relatively steady on its own. If not, you can prop it up with a book or your leg.

Place one washer against a pre-drilled hole on the table tap. In each corner of the table top, there are two pre-drilled holes. It is easiest to begin with the bottom hole.

Place one spring washer against the washer.

Insert a cross dowel bolt into the washers. Making sure that the table leg is aligned with the table top, use the Allen wrench to tighten the bolt.

Place the other washer and spring washer against the top hole and insert the cross dowel bolt. Tighten the assembly with the Allen wrench. Repeat the process with the other three table legs.

Tighten all of the bolts one more time to ensure that the table is solid.

Turn the table right-side up.
